e8ec1ae756 tipc: Eliminate obsolete code for re-sending a message
Removes code that updated the "previous node" field of an out-going
message over TIPC's links. Such updating is unnecessary since the
removal of the prototype multi-cluster capability means that all
outgoing messages are generated locally and already have this field
populated correctly.

9b641251ae tipc: Un-inline port routine for processing incoming messages
Converts a non-trivial routine from inline to non-inline form
to avoid bloating the TIPC code base with 6 copies of its body.

This change is essentially cosmetic, and doesn't change existing
TIPC behavior.

07cafff288 ALSA: hda/conexant - Clear unsol events on unused pins
It seems that Lenovo machines (or codec chip itself?) leave the unsol
event tags and the enablement-flag from other pins bogusly even on the
unused pins. Although this shouldn't be too critical, it's better to
clear them up sanely.

3868137ea4 ALSA: hda - Add a fake mute feature
Some codecs don't supply the mute amp-capabilities although the lowest
volume gives the mute. It'd be handy if the parser provides the mute
mixers in such a case.

This patch adds an extension amp-cap bit (which is used only in the
driver) to represent the min volume = mute state. Also modified the
amp cache code to support the fake mute feature when this bit is set
but the real mute bit is unset.

In addition, conexant cx5051 parser uses this new feature to implement
the missing mute controls.

a29852be49 UBI: fix error handling in ubi_scan()
Two bad things can happen in ubi_scan():
1. If kmem_cache_create() fails we jump to out_si and call

   But si->scan_leb_slab is NULL.
2. If process_eb() fails we jump to out_vidh, call

c43be1085f UBIFS: do not use inc_link when i_nlink is zero
This patch changes the 'i_nlink' counter handling in 'ubifs_unlink()',
'ubifs_rmdir()' and 'ubifs_rename()'. In these function 'i_nlink' may become 0,
and if 'ubifs_jnl_update()' failed, we would use 'inc_nlink()' to restore
the previous 'i_nlink' value, which is incorrect from the VFS point of view and
would cause a 'WARN_ON()' (see 'inc_nlink() implementation).

This patches saves the previous 'i_nlink' value in a local variable and uses it
at the error path instead of calling 'inc_nlink()'. We do this only for the
inodes where 'i_nlink' may potentially become zero.

This change has been requested by Al Viro <viro@ZenIV.linux.org.uk>.

16c395ca72 UBIFS: increase dumps loglevel
Most of the time we use the dumping function to dump something in case
of error. We use 'KERN_DEBUG' printk level, and the drawback is that users
do not see them in the console, while they see the other error messages
in the console. The result is that they send bug reports which does not
contain a lot of useful information. This patch changes the printk level
of the dump functions to 'KERN_ERR' to correct the situation.

I documented it in the MTD web site that people have to send the 'dmesg' output
when submitting bug reposts - it did not help.

81ffbbedc3 drm/radeon: fix deferred page-flip detection logic on Avivo-based ASICs
This fixes page-flip-related flickering observed on Iconia Tab W500.

The update_pending status returned by radeon_page_flip is very accurate on
Avivo-based ASICs when vpos is negative.

Experiments were conducted on several ASIC generations ranging from RS690
to Cayman where the page flip was artificially timed to occur at a specific
vpos. With negative vpos, overriding update_pending always lead to
flickering.

The same experiment on RV380 and RV410 showed that update_pending is not
accurate with negative vpos. In most cases update_pending == 1 is returned
although the flip would complete before the start of the next frame.
Therefore I left the behaviour unchanged for pre-AVIVO ASICs for
performance reasons, although this may result in flickering in rare cases.

This change also makes the logic a little easier to understand.

WDIOC_SETTIMEOUT arg in seconds) fixed SETTIMEOUT ioctl
to use seconds as a parameter instead of some hardware-specific
"period", but missed to apply similar changes to GETTIMEOUT,

value as it should do according to the documentation.

setting the pins of headphones but the driver should set always by
itself.
