Now that XFS takes quota reservations into account there is no need to flush
anything before reporting quotas - in addition to beeing fully transactional
all quota information is also 100% coherent with the rest of the filesystem
now.

Report all quota usage including the currently pending reservations. This
avoids the need to flush delalloc space before gathering quota information,
and matches quota enforcement, which already takes the reservations into
account.
This fixes xfstests 270.

That commit intended for 3.4 renamed IEEE80211_TX_CTL_POLL_RESPONSE as
IEEE80211_TX_CTL_NO_PS_BUFFER. Meanwhile, "carl9170: fix frame delivery
if sta is in powersave mode" added a reference to
IEEE80211_TX_CTL_POLL_RESPONSE in the fixes stream for 3.3. This simple
patch fixes that merge boo-boo.

With the rework to merge the bit-banging fallback into the gmbus

This way we can simplify the setup and teardown a bit.
Because we don't actually allocate anything anymore for the force_bit
case, we can now convert that into a boolean.
Also and the functionality supported by the bit-banging together with
what gmbus can do, so that this doesn't randomly change any more.

When we set up the gpio fallback, we always have a 1:1 relationship
with an intel_gmbus. Exploit that to store all gpio related data in
there, too. This is a preparation step to merge the tw i2c adapters
controlling the same bus into one.
Just mundane code-munging in this patch.

i915 has a hw i2c controller (gmbus) but for a bunch of stupid reasons
we need to be able to fall back to the bit-banging algo on gpio pins.
The current code sets up a 2nd i2c controller for the same i2c bus using
the bit-banging algo. This has a bunch of issues, the major one being
that userspace can directly access this fallback i2c adaptor behind
the drivers back.
But we need to frob a few registers before and after using fallback
gpio bit-banging, so this horribly fails.
The new plan is to only set up one i2c adaptor and transparently fall
back to bit-banging by directly calling the xfer function of the bit-
banging algo in the i2c core.
To make that possible, export the 2 i2c algo functions.
v2: As suggested by Jean Delvare, simply export the i2c_bit_algo
vtable instead of the individual functions.

Interrupt a test application for I2C based mc13xxx driven
touch panel, SIGINT, causes open event file descriptor to be
closed, which in turn causes I2C activity to mask PMIC local
interrupts. This eventually ends up in i2c_imx_bus_busy to
wait for some busy flag to toggle, but while waiting it would
find a signal pending and break. The final symptom is the
device is not closed down cleanly and thus not reopenable.
Do without check for pending signal.

Previous RX error checking was done exclusive-or for different error
types and caused DFS pulse events to be dropped when other error
flags (e.g. CRC) were set simultaneously.
This patch decouples PHY error processing from other types and ensures
that all pulses detected by HW are accounted by the pattern detector.

Remove the enum il_calib. It defined one identifier: IL_CALIB_MAX.
Remove the function il4965_calib_free_results. It was doing nothing
because IL_CALIB_MAX is zero. Next, remove calib_results from the
il_priv structure and also remove the associated return
type/struct il_calib_result.

This renames the IEEE80211_TX_CTL_POLL_RESPONSE
TX flag to IEEE80211_TX_CTL_NO_PS_BUFFER and also
uses it for non-bufferable MMPDUs (all MMPDUs but
deauth, disassoc and action frames.)
Previously, mac80211 would let the MMPDU through
but not set the flag so drivers supporting some
hardware aids for avoiding the PS races would
then reject the frame.

The association sequence looks (roughly) like
this now:
* set BSSID
* set station to EXIST state
* send auth
* set station to AUTH state
* send assoc
* set station to ASSOC state
* set BSS info to associated
In contrast, the deauth/disassoc sequence is
the other way around:
* clear BSSID/BSS info state
* remove station
* send deauth/disassoc
(in some cases the last two steps are reversed.)
This patch encodes the entire sequence in the
ieee80211_set_disassoc() function and changes
it to be like this, for good measure with an
explicit flush:
* send deauth/disassoc
* flush
* remove station
* clear BSSID/BSS info state
At least iwlwifi gets confused with the other
sequence in P2P mode and complains that it
wasn't able to flush the queues.

When ieee80211_set_disassoc() is called with the
tx argument set to true, it will send DelBA out
to the peer. This isn't useful or necessary in a
few cases where we do it today, those being when
we lost the connection or when the supplicant
explicitly asked us to not tell the AP.

Instead of calling cfg80211 in ieee80211_send_deauth_disassoc()
pass out the frame and call it from the caller. That saves the
SKB allocation if we don't actually want to send the frame and
enables us to make the ordering smarter in the future.

gmbus_xfer with a single message (particularly a single message write) would
set Bus Cycle Select to 100b, the Gen Stop cycle, instead of 101b,
No Index, Stop cycle. This would not start single message i2c transactions.
Also, gmbus_xfer done: will disable the interface without checking if
it is idle. In the case of writes, there will be no wait on status or delay
to ensure the write starts and completes before the interface is turned off.
Fixed the former issue by using the same cycle selection as used in the
I2C_M_RD for the write case.
GMBUS_CYCLE_WAIT | (i + 1 == num ? GMBUS_CYCLE_STOP : 0)
Fixed the latter by waiting on GMBUS_ACTIVE to deassert before disable.
Note from the grumpy d-i-n maintainer: The first hunk that changes the
gmbus read path is just cosmetics to align the code with the write
path. I.e. the commit message above is slightly lying because the
first issue is _only_ with writes (and not simply "particularly").

The commands that timeout when a disk is forcibly removed may trigger
libata to attempt recovery of the device. If libsas has decided to
remove the device don't permit ata to continue to issue resets to its
last known phy.
The primary motivation for this patch is hotplug testing by writing 0 to
/sys/class/sas_phy/phyX/enable. Without this check this test leads to
libata issuing a reset and re-enabling the device that wants to be torn
down.

In the direct-attached case this routine returns the phy on which this
device was first discovered. Which is broken if we want to support
wide-targets, as this phy reference can become stale even though the
port is still active.
In the expander-attached case this routine tries to lookup the phy by
scanning the attached sas addresses of the parent expander, and BUG_ONs
if it can't find it. However since eh and the libsas workqueue run
independently we can still be attempting device recovery via eh after
libsas has recorded the device as detached. This is even easier to hit
now that eh is blocked while device domain rediscovery takes place, and
that libata is fed more timed out commands increasing the chances that
it will try to recover the ata device.
Arrange for dev->phy to always point to a last known good phy, it may be
stale after the port is torn down, but it will catch up for wide port
reconfigurations, and never be NULL.

Commit 56dd2c06 "[SCSI] libsas: Don't issue commands to devices that
have been hot-removed" marked the parent device of an end-device as gone
when all the phys to the end device have been deleted.
The expander device is still present until its parent is removed. This
is a benign change until the smp_execute_task() path is taught to check
->gone.

Use ata_wait_after_reset() to poll for link recovery after a reset.
This combined with sas_ha->eh_mutex prevents expander rediscovery from
probing phys in an intermediate state. Local discovery does not have a
mechanism to filter link status changes during this timeout, so it
remains the responsibility of lldds to prevent premature port teardown.
Although once all lldd's support ->lldd_ata_check_ready() that could be
used as a gate to local port teardown.
The signature fis is re-transmitted when the link comes back so we
should be revalidating the ata device class, but that is left to a future
patch.

tg3_get_stats64() takes tp->lock when dealing with non-serdes bcm5700
and bcm5701 devices. However, functions that call tg3_halt() have
already acquired tp->lock. When tg3_get_stats64() is called in
tg3_halt(), deadlock will occur.
This patch fixes the problem by separating the stat gathering code into
a new tg3_get_nstats() function. tg3_get_stats64() is recoded to call
this function and take tp->lock. The code that takes tp->lock in
tg3_calc_crc_errors() has been removed. Function signatures have been
cleaned up too.

The debugfs file pinctrl-maps is a system-wide file, not specific to any
pin controller, so place it in the top-level directory.

debugfs_create_file() or single_open().

The lookup key in struct pinctrl_map is (.dev_name, .name). Re-order the
struct definition to put the lookup key fields first, and the result
values afterwards. To me at least, this slightly better reflects the
lookup process.
Update the documentation in a similar fashion.
Note: PIN_MAP*() macros aren't updated; I plan to update this once later
when enhancing the mapping table format to support pin config to reduce
churn.

The debugfs file pinmux-pins used to tell which function was
enabled but now states simply which device owns the pin. Being
owned by the pinctrl driver itself means just that it's hogged
so be a bit more helpful by printing that.

Nicolas Cavallari discovered that carl9170 has some
serious problems delivering data to sleeping stations.
It turns out that the driver was not honoring two
important flags (IEEE80211_TX_CTL_POLL_RESPONSE and
IEEE80211_TX_CTL_CLEAR_PS_FILT) which are set on
frames that should be sent although the receiving
station is still in powersave mode.

On Access Point mode, when transmitting a packet, if the destination
station is in powersave mode, we abort transmitting the packet to the
device queue, but we do not reclaim the allocated memory. Given enough
packets, we can go in a state where there is no packet on the device
queue, but we think the device has no memory left, so no packet gets
transmitted, connections breaks and the AP stops working.
This undo the allocation done in the TX path when the station is in
power-save mode.

First rename the config option MACH_U8500 to MACH_MOP500
because that is what it's obviously all about, this has
confused me for the last time. Fix some whitespace in the
process.
Since the machine descriptors for HREFv60 and snowball
are clearly in the file board-mop500.c which only
compiles if MACH_MOP500 (former MACH_U8500) is set,
select this for the board variants and nothing else.
For the MOP500 variants the UIB (user interface board)
is probed using I2C so select I2C and I2C_NOMADIK so
we know that this probe will always be successful.

Optimizes routines that send payload messages so that they no longer
update the "originating node" and "originating port" fields of the
outgoing message header template, since these fields are initialized
when the sending port is created and never change thereafter. Also
optimizes the routine which updates the message header template when
a connection to a port is established, for the same reason.
