95022b8cf6 x86/mce: Avoid reading every machine check bank register twice.
Reading machine check bank registers is slow. There is a trend of
increasing the number of banks, and the number of cores. The main section
of do_machine_check() is a serialized section where each cpu in turn
checks every bank. Even on a little two socket SandyBridge-EP system
that multiplies out as:

	2 sockets * 8 cores * 2 hyperthreads * 20 banks = 640 MSRs

We already scan the banks in parallel in mce_no_way_out() to see if there
is a fatal error anywhere in the system. If we build a cache of VALID
bits during this scan, we can avoid uselessly re-reading banks that have
no data. Note that this cache is only a hint. If the valid bit is set in a
shared bank, all cpus that share that bank will see it during the parallel
scan, but the first to find it in the sequential scan will (usually) clear
the bank.

The refactoring of the nv50 logic, introduced in 8663bc7c, modified the

d70f363222 ALSA: hda/conexant - Set up the missing docking-station pins
ThinkPad 410,420,510,520 and X201 with cx50585 & co chips have the
docking-station ports, but BIOS doesn't initialize for these pins.
Thus, like the former X200, we need to set up the pins manually in the
driver.

The odd part is that the same PCI SSID is used for X200 and T400, thus
we need to prepare individual fixup tables for cx5051 and others.

During DRM release, all the FBs and gem objects are released. If

2198edddd8 HID: default HID_BATTERY_STRENGTH to no
Commit 4f5ca836b "HID: hid-input: add support for HID devices reporting
Battery Strength" added the CONFIG_HID_BATTERY_STRENGTH option to report
the battery strength of HID devices. The commit log explicitly mentions
it not working properly with recent userspace, but it is default y
anyway. This is rather odd, and actually causes problems on real
systems.

32898a1454 [media] zoran: fix integer overflow in setup_window()
`clipcount' is from userspace and thus needs validation. Otherwise,
a large `clipcount' could overflow the vmalloc() size, leading to
out-of-bounds access.

| setup_window()
| zoran_s_fmt_vid_overlay()
| __video_do_ioctl()
| video_ioctl2()

Use 2048 as the maximum `clipcount'. Also change the corresponding
parameter type to `unsigned int'.

b803cc58c3 [media] staging: as102: Remove redundant NULL check before release_firmware() and pointless comments
release_firmware() deals gracefullt with NULL pointers - it's
redundant to check for them before calling the function.

Also remove a few pointless comments - it's rather obvious from the
code that kfree() free's a buffer and that release_firmware() releases
firmware - comments just stating that add no value.

f5d89470f9 genirq: Be more informative on irq type mismatch
We require that shared interrupts agree on a few flag settings. Right
now we silently return with an error code without giving any hint why
we reject it.

Make the printout unconditionally and actually useful by printing the
flags of the new and the already registered action.

Convert all printks to pr_* and use a proper prefix while at it.

1c6c69525b genirq: Reject bogus threaded irq requests
Requesting a threaded interrupt without a primary handler and without
IRQF_ONESHOT set is dangerous.

The core will use the default primary handler for it, which merily
wakes the thread. For a level type interrupt this results in an
interrupt storm, because the interrupt line is reenabled after the
primary handler runs. The device has still the line asserted, which
brings us back into the primary handler.

While this works for edge type interrupts, we play it safe and reject
unconditionally because we can't say for sure which type this
interrupt really has. The type flags are unreliable as the underlying
chip implementation can override them. And we cannot assume that
developers using that interface know what they are doing.

590b4775d6 ALSA: workaround: change the timing of alsa_sound_last_init()
Current alsa_sound_last_init() was called as __initcall().
So, on current ALSA, only devices that had been properly
registered at this point were shown.
So, it will show "No soundcards found" if driver requests
probe deferment. it's often misleading.
This patch delays the timing of alsa_sound_last_init()
as workaround.

N800 logs this message on boot:

this should resolve the immediate issue.

064931abb5 ARM: OMAP3: hwmod data: fix IVA interface clock
The OMAP3 hwmod data listed iva2_ck as an interface clock between the
IVA and L3. This is incorrect. iva2_ck is not an interface clock.
Since it cannot auto-idle, specifying it here prevents the IVA and at
least one of the CORE clockdomains from going idle, which causes PM
problems such as these upon system suspend:

[ 70.626129] Powerdomain (iva2_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 1
[ 70.626190] Powerdomain (core_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 1

Fix by specifying the actual interface clock in the hwmod data.
